FACADE ACID PRO
Product description Facade Acid Pro is a professional acidic cleaning concentrate developed for removing mineral and construction-related deposits from acid-resistant building surfaces.
The product is intended for dissolving cement residue, mortar haze, mineral scale, lime deposits, rust staining, efflorescence, and inorganic surface contamination.
It is particularly suitable for post-construction cleaning and restoration work on compatible masonry and mineral substrates.
Facade Acid Pro should only be used on surfaces proven to be resistant to acidic cleaners.
Main applications
*Cement and mortar residue removal
* Post-construction façade cleaning
* Efflorescence removal
* Lime and mineral deposit removal
* Rust-stain treatment
* Brick and clinker cleaning
* Acid-resistant concrete surfaces
* Selected ceramic and mineral surfaces
* Restoration of heavily mineral-contaminated exterior surfaces
Main benefits
* Dissolves cement and mortar haze
* Removes mineral scale and lime deposits
* Helps eliminate rust staining
* Reduces visible efflorescence
* Suitable for controlled post-construction cleaning
* Concentrated professional formulation
* Effective on compatible mineral substrates
Recommended dilution
* Light mineral deposits: 1:10 to 1:20
* Medium deposits: 1:5 to 1:10
* Heavy cement or scale deposits: 1:2 to 1:5
* Localized severe deposits: stronger concentration may be required after compatibility testing
The final dilution depends on acid strength, surface type, deposit thickness, and contact time.
Directions for use
1. Remove loose dirt mechanically.
2. Thoroughly pre-wet the surface with clean water.
3. Apply the diluted cleaner from the bottom upward.
4. Allow a short contact time, generally 2–5 minutes.
5. Do not allow the product to dry.
6. Agitate with an acid-resistant brush where required.
7. Rinse immediately and thoroughly with large quantities of clean water.
8. Neutralize residual acidity where required by the cleaning procedure.
9. Repeat only after checking that the surface has not been damaged.
Important limitations
Do not use on:
* Marble
* Limestone
* Travertine
* Terrazzo containing carbonate stone
* Polished natural stone
* Aluminium
* Zinc
* Galvanized metal
* Acid-sensitive paint
* Sensitive grout
* Unknown decorative coatings
Acidic products may permanently etch or discolor carbonate-based stone and sensitive metals.
Always perform a small-area compatibility test before use.
