Post-Construction Cement Residue Remover
Remove loose contamination
Scrape or brush away loose cement, mortar, sand and construction debris before applying the product.
Protect adjacent surfaces
Cover glass, painted surfaces, aluminum, galvanized metal, wood, plants and other acid-sensitive materials.
Test the surface
Apply the product to a small, inconspicuous area first. Continue only if no discoloration, etching or surface damage occurs.
Pre-wet the surface
Thoroughly wet the surface with clean water. The surface should be damp but without standing water.
Apply the product
Apply evenly using an acid-resistant brush, sponge or low-pressure sprayer. Avoid producing spray mist. On vertical surfaces, work from the bottom upward to reduce streaking.
Allow it to react
Leave the product on the surface for approximately 2–5 minutes. Agitate with an acid-resistant stiff nylon brush as the cement residue softens.
Do not allow the product to dry
Keep the treated area wet during the entire cleaning process. Work in small, manageable sections.
Rinse immediately with plenty of clean water. A pressure washer may be used on surfaces that can safely tolerate high pressure.
For thick or old cement deposits, repeat the treatment rather than extending the contact time excessively. Mechanically remove softened material between applications.
Rinse the entire treated area thoroughly until all cleaner and dissolved residue have been removed. Before applying paint, sealer or coating, verify that the surface is clean and appropriately neutralized.
Recommended Dilution:
Heavy cement and mortar deposits: use undiluted only when validated for the surface and product formulation.
Normal post-construction residue: dilute according to the validated product specification.
Light cement film or grout haze: use a weaker validated dilution.
Always add the product to water when preparing a diluted solution. Never add water directly into a container of concentrated acidic product.
Important Restrictions
Do not use on marble, limestone, travertine, terrazzo, onyx, acid-sensitive natural stone, aluminum, galvanized metals, copper, brass, chrome-plated or painted surfaces. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area before full application. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface. Rinse thoroughly with clean water after use.
Do not use on:
Marble, Limestone, Travertine, Terrazzo, Onyx, Acid-sensitive natural stone, Aluminum, Zinc or galvanized metal, Copper or brass, Chrome-plated surfaces, Painted or coated surfaces, Wood.
Do not mix with chlorine bleach, hypochlorite products, alkalis or other cleaning chemicals.
Personal Protection:
